ABOUT OUR ALPACAS:

Extensive research into suri alpacas and careful selection of original herd stock yielded an original herd of four suris and has grown into over 50 alpacas -– each of which has added value and variety to our pedigreed stock.

The ARI blood DNA-registered suri alpacas at Southern Oaks are of Accoyo, Peruvian, Bolivian, and Chilean ancestry, and feature the finest conformation, fiber, and dispositions known to the breed.

Our suri herd offers premium physical soundness and a range of fleece colors and characteristics of supreme density, uniformity, and luster.
