We regularly network with local partnering farms and other alpaca breeders on a regular basis to share knowledge and gain expertise, while participating in educational conferences ranging from husbandry skills to neo-natal proficiency. Also attending and hosting fiber spinning classes, we often harvest our superior suri alpaca fleece into fine yarns fit for a variety of luxurious garments. One look at the fiber from our suris and you’ll see why!

Our involvement with and membership in associations such as AOBA, ARI, Suri Network, FABA, SEAA, and the Camelid Dynamics Guild offer further testament to our commitment to excelling in the suri alpaca industry. Additionally, Southern Oaks Alpacas will continue to host informative seminars to further involve the public and industry in the exciting and unique world of alpacas.
